FSD 2.0 R499

Huge progress since yesterday :
Complete XEX file decryption and extraction is working!
Decrypting and extracting a 6mB xex file currently takes about 2sec.
This will allow us to have a lots of info about games without going online :
Game title, ESRB rating and game icon to name a few.
Extracting is not currently integrated in FSD, its still running as a Debug Command but it shouldnt be too long before it is!

  1. Pretty sad ... But RCMP are trying to make a statement without really knowing what they are talking about...
Modifying a console and computer is considered an illegal act under Section 342.1 of the Criminal Code and is punishable by imprisonment for up to ten years.

    Lol modifying a computer?

And the guy they arrested, he was posting online ads saying thats he's modding console and selling games!

  2. Also, this line seems to be skipped by most site reporting the news :
The RCMP takes action and investigates this type of crime if there are grounds to believe that material has been copied for the purpose of commercial distribution, or to such an extent as to be prejudicial to the copyright holder.

  4. Awesome work to all developers thanks for sharing progress reports! FSD starts to like 3.0 instead 2.0 ;) maybe it's time to do a feature freeze and start polishing bugs, letting minor features for a 2.1 release.

    Minor suggestions:

-option to change the color of text staying over backgrounds, useful with the brighter ones.

-in filemanager, use two triggers/bumpers to navigate next/previous drive.

  5. The default skin actually look nice compared to the default one in FSD v1.20.
Cant wait for the final stable release, and looking forward to test all the new features you and the other devs have added.

Keep up the good work. :)
